CAMP NEXT STANDOUTS

Pictured left to right: Antonio Anderson, Dalton Lowery, and Damaryious Lewis

This year was the inaugural year for Camp Next. The goal of the camp was to get eyes on young promising players and we were able to do just that. The camp attracted players from across Alabama as well as Mississippi.

We were extremely impressed with 2029 prospects Antonio Anderson, Dalton Lowery, and Damaryious Lewis. All three played with a ton of energy, were extremely coachable, and just went out there and flat out out put in work once the 5 on 5 games started in the afternoon. With their impressive performances each player earned an invite to our upcoming Freshman and Sophomore Camp where they can test their skills against the older competition.

CAMP MVP - dalton lowery

Dalton Lowery out of Winfield (AL) was on a mission all day. From the drills to the games he showed high level shot - making ability with great range. He has a great feel for when to be in attack and when to get his teammates which is essential for point guards. Dalton had the crowd buzzing all day with some of the contested shots he was knocking down and the dimes being dropped off to his guys for easy scores. By winning the MVP Dalton will receive some MVP shoes customized on Nike by You!

ANTONIO “T2”ANDERSON

Antonio Anderson plays extremely physical. He has a strong frame, touch around the basket, smooth handle, and can shoot it from college range with ease. We loved how he accepted coaching and make adjustments on the fly without missing a beat. Anderson will be one to follow out of the Birmingham, AL area.

DAMARYIIOUS LEWIS

Lewis is a fluid athlete that loves to play downhill. He uses his length and footwork to slither by defender and finish at the hoop. He can really break his defender down off the dribble and create easy scores for his teammates when the defense helps off. We will definitely be in to check out some McNair Middle School games this season to Damaryious put in work.
